spelling board game
Since I can't post a word document here. I will copy and paste the directions for you. Feel free to save them in your own document form.
The Spelling Word Board Game
To play this game you will need to print and laminate both the board and the blank cards. You will also need to have at least one dry erase marker to play this game. You may pick how you want the order of players to go, I use youngest to oldest. Each player picks a color and has one free square with a star or stars in it. In order to win the game the player must spell all of their 15 spelling words correctly and mark all of their color of squares with a star or something (not everyone can make stars).
On their turn, the player is given a spelling word. They must write it on one of their four blank cards. If they spell it correctly, they mark their color of square. If they spell it incorrectly, they must turn that card over and respell that word again later. For older kids, if you have all four of your cards turned over with misspelled words, you are out. When all of the colored squares are marked, I give out small rewards such as five extra minutes at a favorite activity card.
